چکیده
Background: The advanced wastewater and water treatment by Reverse Osmosis (RO) system have almost become a common option in industries. However, achieving consistent RO feed quality the rigor of pre-treatment pose big challenge for specialists. Due to critical limiting parameters (Silica, Turbidity, BOD, Total hardness) inadequate consideration recycling plant design, Plant likely fails due scaling membrane poor productivity. This calls judicious an appropriate technology line with quality.
Objective: objective work was study electro-coagulation pharmaceutical reference parameters.
Materials Methods: In this paper, Electro-coagulation (EC) Bio-treated explored as Pre-treatment system. EC reactor 1m3 working volume, bipolar sacrificial Iron electrodes were used, Critical examined post treatment.
Results: Among 14 that investigated, five namely Aluminium Al, Fe, Zinc Zn, Silica SiO2 registered reduction range 80 96 %, after electro-coagulation. Four other like Manganese Mn, Phosphate P, Magnesium Mg shown 50 80%.
enables be operated at higher efficiency increased recovery. test before subjected regression analysis found statistical significance one P<0.01.
Conclusion: is applicable all types (Disc & plate, conventional wound) membranes enhances life reducing fouling, maintenance, chemical cleaning, overall cost.

Investigating the efficiency of chemical coagulation/Electro-Fenton process in the removal of organic matter from pharmaceutical industry wastewater
Background and Objective: Wastewater from pharmaceutical industry has high chemical oxygen demand as a result of the presence of organic drugs and antibiotics. In order to meet the environmental requirements, several treatment methods like chemical and electrochemical methods have been widely applied due to their high ability to remove organic compounds from pharmaceutical wastewater. Therefore...
متن کاملSynthesis of Thiamine-Modified Bentonite for Pretreatment of Pharmaceutical Wastewater
A series of sodium bentonite and thiamine were used as raw materials to prepare a new adsorbent – thiamine-modified bentonite. The adsorbent was applied in the pretreatment of pharmaceutical wastewater. The optimum preparation conditions of thiamine-modified bentonite were studied. The experiments showed that the removals of COD (chemical oxygen demand) reached 47.98 % under optimal condition. ...
متن کاملDiagnostic analysis of RO desalting treated wastewater
Diagnostic analysis of reverse osmosis membranes that were fed with Western treatment plant (WTP) recycled water was investigated by both thermodynamic calculations and laboratory experiments in order to predict the feasibility of RO desalting for WTP. The thermodynamic calculations suggested that RO recoveries of 80–85% were feasible with careful control of feed water pH and the use of chemica...

the efficiency of existing municipal wastewater treatment plants has been affected by the increase of incoming organic load caused by the expansions in developing countries. in the present investigation, the effect of chemically enhanced primary treatment (cept) process was studied on the enhancement efficiency of a municipal wastewater treatment plant in tehran, iran. jar test results showed a...
متن کاملPharmaceutical Wastewater Chemical Oxygen Demand Reduction: Electro-Fenton, UV-enhanced Electro-Fenton and Activated Sludge
In this study, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) from a pharmaceutical wastewater (PhW) was reduced by several techniques such as electro-Fenton (EF), photo electro-Fenton (PEF) and activated sludge (AS) processes and the obtained data were compared with each other. The effects of several parameters such as pH, current density, H2O2/Fe2+ molar ratio, volume ratio of ...
